Elicit is a working concept for a publication that provides a vehicle for content which is thought provoking, questions the topic of national identity, brings to light contemporary issues, recognises interesting individuals, listens to past stories and explores the diversity of subculture and creativity in Australia. It blends creative content with current topical affairs and sub cultural genres aiming to challenge complacency and provoke questioning of mainstream visual culture. This project was born out of research surrounding the topic of Australian national identity.
